Bellamy & Byng Street

Communities First are working as an independent advisor for residents in Bellamy & Byng Street on the isle of Dogs. Following a positive vote in the Residents Ballot, most residents have now moved into temporary housing and amended plans are with Tower Hamlets Council for consideration ahead of building work, which should start in 2024. We are providing support to a Tenants Steering Group and also advise individual tenants on their rights.

We can make home visits or meet with people in the community locally, or we can arrange a telephone, Zoom or WhatsApp call for 1:1 or small group meetings.
